Having a heart for the people, and nurturing lifelong relationships with those we come in contact, The Shundo Foundation stands ready to take the necessary steps to encourage people to “do better”. Teaching the man to fish, instead of giving him a handout. Focusing on personal and community empowerment, the Shundo foundation concentrates on building individuals as well as families.We earn the trust of those we serve by operating ethically and transparently, honoring our commitments, and showing courtesy and respect in all aspects of our work. As a team, we  demonstrate and welcome creativity, resourcefulness and ingenuity among our members as well as those we come in contact with. We invite and encourage new ideas and take into consideration what we can do to give hurting people the assistance they may need. Stewardship is our standard as we seek innovative methods for achieving the good of the community as a whole.
